Signing in

Sign in with your institutional account, Google Workspace or email and password, and recover a forgotten password.

Ways to sign in

Your institution enables one or more of these on the login page:

• Institutional single sign-on. Click the button labelled with your institution's account name. You are redirected to your institution's login page and returned to Sivitas signed in. Your Sivitas account is matched by your institutional email.
• Google Workspace. Click the Google button and choose your institutional Google account. Personal Gmail accounts are not accepted unless your administrator has added them.
• Email and password. Enter the email address registered in Sivitas and your password.

Forgotten password

1. Click Forgot password under the sign-in form.
2. Enter your registered email address and submit.
3. Open the email from Sivitas and follow the reset link. The link carries a one-time token and expires.
4. Enter a new password twice and save. You are returned to the login page.

If your account uses single sign-on, reset the password with your institution instead. Sivitas does not store an SSO password.

Protection against repeated failures

After the first failed attempt, a CAPTCHA appears. After five failed attempts, the account is locked for 15 minutes. Wait for the lock to expire or use the password reset.

After you sign in

You land on the Dashboard. The sidebar shows only the modules your role can use. Your session stays valid while you use the application and expires after a period of inactivity, after which you sign in again.

Help

The footer of the login page shows your institution's help desk address and a link to documentation. Both are configured by your administrator.
