Navigating Sivitas
The dashboard, the sidebar, your profile, and the controls you will meet on almost every page.
Dashboard
The dashboard is your landing page and adapts to your role.
- Faculty see a profile summary, qualification status with a projection chart, education background, and the course classes and syllabi they are assigned to this term.
- Students see their profile and the course classes they are enrolled in.
- Administrators see aggregate views of course classes and syllabi for the units they manage.
Sidebar
The sidebar lists the modules available to you. Hover an icon to see its name. Modules with sub-pages open an inner menu on the left of the page, grouped by task (for example Masters, Planning and Report in Class & Teaching Assignment).
Modules that appear for a typical institution, top to bottom: Dashboard, Setup, Program, Curriculum & Courses, Syllabus, Class & Teaching Assignment, Teaching, AOL, FS/FQ/IC, People, Faculty Achievement & Activities, DUPAK, HRD, Final Project, QA Survey, Library, BAN-PT, BSQ, RFID Log, Reporting Incomplete Data, Audit Trail, Setting, Profile.
Profile
Sidebar › Profile opens your own record with the same tabs an administrator sees in People: Profile, Education, Family, Bank, Language, Medical History, HR Information and Account Setting. Faculty also see a Faculty Qualification detail with their current accreditation status. Change your password under Account Setting.
Controls you will see everywhere
- Tables support sorting by column, a search box, page size and, on most lists, Excel or CSV export and a column chooser.
- Filters sit above a table. A term or academic year selector is usually the first filter and remembers your last choice.
- Import buttons open a dialog with a Download Template link. Fill the template, upload it, review the row-by-row result, then confirm.
- Lock icons on term data mean the semester is closed for editing. An administrator can unlock it.
- Approve / Verify / Finalize buttons move a record through a workflow. Once finalized, most records become read-only.
Notifications and messages
Modules with a workflow (final project, achievement review, DUPAK) show unread counts next to their menu entries and, where configured, send email notifications when an item needs your attention.
