Terms and acronyms used across Sivitas and in this manual.

Term Meaning
AACSB Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the international business-school accreditor whose standards the FS/FQ/IC, AoL and BSQ modules support
Academic year / time period A year such as 2026/2027 and its semesters; most data in Sivitas is selected by time period
AoL Assurance of Learning, the outcomes-assessment cycle
BAN-PT Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi, Indonesia's National Accreditation Board for Higher Education
Batch / cohort A group of students admitted together who follow the same class pattern; cohorts are protected from timetable clashes
BSQ Business School Questionnaire, AACSB's annual data collection
CG / LO Competency goal and learning objective, the outcome hierarchy in a curriculum
Course class One section of a course offered in a term, with its lecturers, room, schedule and roster
Course offering The set of course classes opened for a term
Coordinator The lecturer responsible for a course across all its classes in a term
Credit / SKS The credit unit of a course; SKS is the Indonesian term
Draft A generated timetable that has not been published
DUPAK Daftar Usul Penetapan Angka Kredit, the Indonesian lecturer credit-point dossier for promotion
FS / FQ / IC Faculty Sufficiency, Faculty Qualification, Intellectual Contributions
Model specification The compiled, versioned set of scheduling rules that must be approved before solving
Pin A class fixed to a slot, room or lecturer that the solver must keep
Room pool The rooms a study program's classes may use
SA / PA / SP / IP Scholarly Academic, Practice Academic, Scholarly Practitioner, Instructional Practitioner: AACSB faculty qualification statuses
Scenario A named group of drafts generated with different rules for comparison
SINTA / ABDC / Scopus Journal classification sources: Indonesia's national index, the Australian Business Deans Council list, and Elsevier's index
Solver The constraint-programming engine (CP-SAT) that produces timetables
Study program A degree program at a level, for example the undergraduate management program
Term Used interchangeably with semester or time period
TPAK Tim Penilai Angka Kredit, the credit-point assessment team; also a role in Sivitas
